Well, my name is Frederick Bacala. I am the webmaster of this homepage. I am currently living in Japan, and I am teaching English. My future plans are to finish my Masters degree in Teaching English as a Second/Other Language, and teach at a university. Many of my friends and family don't understand why I am here in Japan. Through this website, I hope to open their eyes on what my own personal dreams are. Coming to Japan, teaching English in Japan, and just living in Japan, has been a dream that I have had since I was younger. I never realized my dreams, until after I had left Hawaii, and moved to San Francisco. When I left Hawaii, I thought that my dreams would fade away. But when I went to San Francisco, the dreams had returned, and I realized that I CANNOT let my dreams slip away. I applied, and was accepted in the JET Program, and now I am here in Japan!! Thank goodness my dreams have come true!! I have completed step one of my career goals! Now on to step two!
